Adrian Cruickshank Former Nationals Member for Murrumbidgee passed away on Friday 21 May 2010 following a long illness.

Adrian served with great distinction as Member for Murrumbidgee in the Legislative Assembly from 1984 to 1999.

Before entering Parliament he was a Councillor on Carrathool Shire Council, an esteemed farmer and a mineral prospector in southern and eastern Africa.

Adrian was a lifetime contributor to the National (and previously Country) Party of NSW, going back as far as his successful State Chairmanship of the Young Country Party in 1966.


His funeral service will be held in the main auditorium at the Yoogali Club, Mackay Avenue, Griffith, on Monday 31 May 2010 at 2.30 pm, followed by a private family interment in the Griffith City Cemetery.

Adrian Cruickshank was born on 16 December 1936 and died on 21 May 2010 aged 73 years.
