Appeal For Witnesses To Chatswood Hotel Robbery

Chatswood Police are appealing for witnesses to the armed robbery of a hotel overnight.

Staff told Police two men one armed with a taser-style weapon entered the foyer of the building on Brown Street about 11.15 pm.

The men jumped a counter and threatened staff demanding cash.

They left the premises with a sum of cash and were last seen driving towards the Pacific Highway in a vehicle described as being a dark green Proton or similar.

One staff member was treated at the scene for a wrenched shoulder by NSW Ambulance Paramedics. There were no serious injuries.
