Boundary Changes:

The 2012-2013 redivision of State electoral boundaries made the following changes to the boundaries of Tarneit District.

Tarneit Lost:

25,019 electors to Werribee District (Werribee South. Parts of Hoppers Crossing, Werribee and Wyndham Vale)

Tarneit Gained:

13,428 electors from Altona District (Laverton North and Williams Landing. Part of Hoppers Crossing)

Western Metropolitan Region

Election Results:

Two-party preferred vote, 2010 State election:

ALP:               25,553             61.13%

Liberal:            16,248             38.87%
