As the HSC approaches, students across the state are getting ready to take a break from the books and head to a hands-on Open Day at TAFE NSW to get a taste of vocational training and education options for 2019.

Minister responsible for TAFE NSW Adam Marshall said visitors to Open Day on 18 and 25 August will learn more about how studying one of over 1,200 courses at TAFE NSW can turbocharge their career.

“TAFE NSW students are in high demand because of the quality of their education and ability to hit the ground running with the job-ready skills that employers are looking for.” Minister Marshall said.

“Open Day will provide prospective students with an invaluable opportunity to explore the huge range of course options, meet with award winning teachers and explore the practical, hands-on facilities at TAFE NSW.”

“With new courses and bachelor degrees in areas such as cyber security, drone technology, and information technology, choosing TAFE NSW is an obvious choice for people looking to secure their first job, win a promotion or embark on a career change.” Minister Marshall said.

TAFE NSW Open Days will be held at various campuses on Saturday 18 August from 10 am-2 pm and at Ultimo on Saturday 25 August from 9 am-4 pm.
