South Australia State Election 20 March 2010

Victor P Taffa

South Australia’s State election has produced a new House of Assembly that over the next four years will be absorbing to watch.

The seats that have changed hands at this stage are as follows:

Liberal Gains:

  • Adelaide
  • Chaffey
  • Morialta
  • Norwood

Labor Losses:

  • Adelaide
  • Morialta
  • Norwood

National Losses:

  • Chaffey

Should veteran Labor leader Mike Rann be able to claim the necessary 24 seats from which to form a majority he will be facing a resurgent opposition with a leader who has shown a strength of purpose and character and Isobel Redmond will become Premier of South Australia sooner rather than later.
