Delivering A Great Local School For Berwick

Victor P Taffa

Berwick families will get the world-class local school their kids deserve, with a re-elected Andrews Government to deliver a massive upgrade to Timbarra P-9 College.

Andrews Government will invest $2.9 Million to transform tired old classrooms and facilities into modern learning environments, including new science, technology, engineering and maths facilities.

Every child should have a good local school and the chance to succeed in life, and only a re-elected Andrews Government will deliver that for kids in Berwick.

“We’re building or upgrading more than 1,300 schools across the state and the Andrews Government will keep delivering for Victorian families.” Minister for Education James Merlino said.

Andrews Government has invested more than $3.8 Billion to build 70 new schools and upgrade 1,300 schools across the state since coming to office in 2014.

That means thousands of Victorian kids now go to school every day and learn in new classrooms with better technology and facilities, like new gyms and science labs.

“It’s also helped create 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians right around our state.” Minister Merlino said.

“Timbarra P-9 College is a great local school and only Labor will deliver the state-of-the-art new classrooms and facilities the kids and their teachers need to achieve their best.” Member for Narre Warren North Luke Donnellan said.

A re-elected Andrews Government will keep delivering for Victorians with more new schools and upgrades to existing schools across the state.

Victoria State Election will be held on 24 November 2018.
