Preston Lost:

3,300 electors to Northcote District (Part of Preston)

Preston Gained:

2,226 electors from Northcote District (Part of Preston)

3,309 electors from Thomastown District (Part of Reservoir)

Northern Metropolitan Region

Election Results:

Two-party preferred vote, 2010 State election:

ALP:               23,250             70.38%

Liberal:            9,783               29.62%

Estimated two-party preferred vote on 2014 boundaries:*
