For the last 3 years Premier Daniel Andrews has ducked and dodged giving evidence to each of the official investigations about whether he had any knowledge of the rorting of $388,000 of taxpayers’ money.

Premier Daniel Andrews is making a lot of big promises in this election campaign so it’s important Victorians know if they can trust him before they cast their vote, Shadow Attorney-General John Pesutto said.

“Premier Daniel Andrews declined to be interviewed by the Ombudsman and instead threw (Former Labor Treasurer) John Lenders under the bus. He then avoided scrutiny by refusing to appear at a Parliamentary inquiry into Labor’s rorting of $388,000 of taxpayers’ money.”

“It’s now time for Premier Daniel Andrews to go in for Police questioning and provide a statement under oath about what he knew and when he knew it.” Shadow Attorney-General Pesutto said.

“Nothing says more about the character and style of the Andrews Labor Government better than Red Shirts: the rort, cover-up, delaying tactics, Labor’s attack on fraud investigators and even a patsy to take all the heat.”

“Premier Daniel Andrews and Labor can’t be trusted with another 4 years.” Shadow Attorney-General Pesutto said.

Victoria State Election will be held on 24 November 2018.
