Men Arrested After Police Pursuit – Daceyville

Two men will appear in court after a Police pursuit through Sydney overnight.

About 10pm (on Saturday 21 November) Police from the Botany Bay Pro-active Crime Team allegedly observed a reported stolen Honda Accord travelling north along Bunnerong Road at Daceyville.

Police began to follow the car and at the intersection of Dacey Avenue and the Anzac Parade at Kensington, Police activated lights and sirens and signalled for the car to pull over.

Police will allege that the car accelerated away resulting in the commencement of a pursuit.

The car allegedly travelled along South Dowling Street and through a number of back streets in Waterloo before travelling west along Cleveland Street.

The Marrickville man was charged with drive conveyance without consent, drive manner dangerous, learner not accompanied by driver and an outstanding arrest warrant. He was bail refused to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today.

The Lilyfield man was charged with being carried in a conveyance and granted conditional bail. He will appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Monday 14 December.
