Arafura Games 2021 Planning Well Underway

Planning for the 2021 Arafura Games is well underway with the Minister for the Arafura Games Natasha Fyles announcing the membership of the Games’ Advisory Committee today.

First role of the Committee is to determine which sports will be part of the program following a 6-week expression of interest process which recently closed.

“Economic and social benefits that the Games bring to our community is significant adding millions to our economy, providing work for businesses, highlighting investment opportunities as well as showcasing our sporting facilities, culture and lifestyle.” Minister for the Arafura Games Natasha Fyles said.

“Local and international response to the 2019 Games has been overwhelmingly positive.”

2021 Arafura Games will be held from 14-22 May.
