Police Conduct Inquiries Into Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash – Campbelltown

Police will prepare a report for the New South Wales Coroner following a fatal crash at Campbelltown, in Sydney’s south-west.

After 1pm yesterday (Friday 11 December), a white Holden Commodore sedan crashed into a brick wall near the intersection of Stewart and Innes Streets.

An off-duty Police officer who witnessed the crash rendered assistance to the driver, a 72-year-old man, until other emergency services arrived.

Police from Campbelltown Local Area Command and NSW Ambulance personnel attended the scene a short time later; however, the driver was unable to be revived.

Investigations are continuing into the cause of the crash and Police will prepare a brief of evidence for the information of the State Coroner.
