Treasurer Dominic Perrottet today announced the New South Wales Budget for 2019-20 will be handed down on Tuesday, 18 June.

Treasurer Perrottet said he looked forward to delivering his third Budget as New South Wales Treasurer, and the first since the New South Wales Liberals & Nationals secured a historic third term at the recent State election.

“It is a huge privilege and responsibility to deliver a Budget and this year we will be funding the Government’s election commitments and continuing to ensure we plan for the future and deliver for New South Wales communities and families.” Treasurer Perrottet said.

“We will continue to build on the record $89.7 Billion in infrastructure including critical projects such as the Sydney Metro Northwest, more than 190 new and upgraded schools, and more than 100 new and upgraded hospitals and health facilities.”

“We have also introduced a range of new cost of living measures such as doubling the hugely popular Active Kids voucher and expanding our Toll Relief rego rebate.” Treasurer Perrottet said.

“Government’s strong financial management has resulted in New South Wales being ranked as the leading economy in the nation with the lowest unemployment.”

“On June 18 we will deliver a Budget that continues to get the job done, positions the State to meet the economic challenges we face, creates opportunity and builds a better future for everyone in New South Wales no matter where they live.” Treasurer Perrottet said.
