Sales have opened for a new affordable housing development near the heart of the transforming historic suburb of Midland.

“Woodbridge on Green will bring a new range of innovative housing options and deliver integrated and co-ordinated transport networks, as well as an improved lifestyle for residents.” Minister for Housing Peter Tinley said.

Woodbridge on Green development at 15 Yelverton Drive, Woodbridge will comprise 79 One, Two and Three bedroom apartments over 5 levels.

Development is well positioned to leverage the area’s existing infrastructure and offers private, social and affordable shared equity housing opportunities.

“This local housing development is a very welcome addition and will help transform Midland’s precinct into a great place to live and work. I also welcome the local jobs this project will create.” Midland MLA Michelle Roberts said.

Located in the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority’s Midland Workshops Precinct, residents will be a short walk away from a shopping centre, Woodbridge Primary School, Midland Public Hospital, a future medical school and recreational amenities.

There is a cycle path to Perth’s CBD and the Midland railway station and bus interchange will be within 500 metres of Woodbridge on Green.

Leading developer Psaros will deliver the Woodbridge on Green project on land owned by the Department of Communities.  Construction is expected to take 18 months and create about 80 jobs. The total project value is estimated at $30 Million.
