Country Liberals Government Sworn In

Member for Blain Terry Mills and Member for Araluen Robyn Lambley have been sworn in as the Territory’s new Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister.

The ceremony was conducted at Government House this morning by Administrator Sally Thomas.

Mr. Mills and Mrs. Lambley will assume key Ministerial portfolios until the make-up of the Government is finalised.

As well as his Chief Ministerial responsibilities, Mr. Mills will also assume the Treasury, Police Fire and Emergency Services, Indigenous Development and Justice portfolios.

Mrs. Lambley will be interim Minister for Education and Training and Health.

“I know I speak for all of my team when I say the election of a Country Liberals Government is a great honour and an enormous responsibility.” Mr. Mills said.
