The ANZ Jobs Survey Released Today Reveals that South Australia has the Lowest Annual Growth in Job Advertisements of all other states and territories.
Shadow Minister for Employment, David Pisoni, said despite small and infrequent spikes in monthly growth figures over the year the annual trend paints a gloomy picture for South Australia.
“While SA has had the Lowest Annual Growth in Job Advertisements, under the Rann Labor Government’s Poor Management this year we have also seen that:
There are now a staggering 49,200 Unemployed People across the State.
South Australians’ Average Weekly Income is the Lowest of all Mainland States and more than $112 per week less than the National Average.
- South Australia’s Youth Unemployment Rate Sky Rocketed By Nearly 40 % in October with more than one in three of our young job seekers looking for full time work.
“Premier Rann and his Ministers are too busy fighting with each other to focus on running the state.” Mr. Pisoni said.
“Our Premier is overseas and our Deputy Premier is on sick leave while job seekers and employers in South Australia continue to see a fall in confidence and employment opportunity under Labor.”
“This Government is arrogant and lazy and South Australians who are looking for work are suffering at the hands of their Economic Mismanagement.” Mr. Pisoni said.
