Driver Suffers Fractured Skull Leg In Mosman Crash
A man has suffered multiple injuries in a single-car crash at Mosman this morning.
Police were called to the intersection of Ourimbah and Spit Roads after a 2000-model Holden Astra left the road and hit a tree about 1.30am.
The driver and sole occupant of the car was trapped in the wreckage for 40 minutes before being freed by NSW Fire Brigades rescue personnel.
The 20-year-old man, from Seaforth, was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital with injuries including a fractured skull, compound fractures of his right leg, facial injuries and possible internal injuries.
Inquiries into the circumstances leading up to the crash are continuing.
