Man Faces Court Over Alleged Car Re-Birthing – Moorebank

A man will face court next month charged over organised car re-birthing activity in Moorebank.

Officers from the Liverpool Anti Theft Unit conducted a search on a premises in Nuwarra Road, in relation to an alleged stolen vehicle being on the premises.

During the search police will allege they located a number of vehicles in various states of repair, as well as 3 stolen motor vehicles, including a Nissan Sylvia, a BMW convertible, and a partially stripped Mazda 6.

Officers will further allege they located a stolen engine, and various vehicle parts.

The 29-year-old man was arrested at the premises and taken to Liverpool Police Station where he was charged with knowingly facilitate organised car re-birthing, and 4 counts of goods in custody relating to the stolen vehicles.

The man was granted bail and will appear in Liverpool Local Court on January 27.
