Police Appeal For Witnesses Following Two-Car Collision – Mid North Coast

Police have appealed for witnesses following a collision between two vehicles on the State’s mid north coast yesterday (Saturday 21 November).

About 5.30pm a 1977 blue Holden Torana was being driven east on Waterfall Way, Fernmount when it collided with a 1991 white Subaru Liberty, which was travelling west.

The Torana was being driven by a 36-year-old Coramba man, with his daughter, 14, and two sons aged 11 and nine, as passengers.

The Subaru was being driven by a 47-year-old Fernmount man.

All five people involved were taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus with serious injuries.

The girl and 11-year-old boy sustained serious internal injuries including bleeding of the liver and spleen and blood on the lungs. They will be transferred to other hospitals for further treatment.

The driver of the Subaru sustained chest injuries.
