The State Government has released another seven lots at LandCorp’s Lakeside Park Estate in Kununurra to help meet demand in the growing community.
Lands Minister Brendon Grylls said with demand for residential land growing, this latest release offered locals even more opportunity to purchase land in the thriving Kimberley Town.
“The seven lots will be offered for sale through an online registration of interest process.” Mr. Grylls said.
“This will be the second time in four months the State Government has offered lots for sale in Kununurra using this method.”
“The system ensures fair access to the lots for both local residents and businesses looking to house employees.” Mr. Grylls said.
The seven, fully serviced lots are part of Stage 5 of the development and priced from $144,000. The lots range in size from 545 sqm to 621 sqm.
Registrations will be entered into a random draw to be held at 2 pm on July 20, under the supervision of an external probity auditor to ensure impartiality.
The Minister said more land options, including house and land packages, would be made available at Lakeside Park in the coming weeks.
Located just two km South-East of the Town Centre, the estate will ultimately provide more than 300 home sites.
