Police Investigate Armed Raid On Fast Food Restaurant – Hoxton Park

Police in Sydney’s South-West are appealing for witnesses to an armed robbery at a Hoxton Park fast food restaurant.

An unknown man climbed through a drive-thru window at the Cowpasture Road restaurant about 8.30 pm yesterday (Tuesday 29 December) before threatening staff with a large kitchen knife.

The offender stole cash from a number of registers and a safe before escaping out the same window.

He was last seen running South towards Fifteenth Avenue.

Police from Green Valley Local Area Command and the Forensic Armed Robbery Unit attended the scene and carried out inquiries.

A search of the surrounding area by General Duties and Dog Squad Officers was conducted without success.

Investigating Officers are now seeking public assistance as they hunt the offender, who has been described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, 165-170 cm tall with a dark complexion.

He was last seen wearing a grey long-sleeved nylon jacket turned inside out, black trousers and white or silver-coloured joggers possibly Nike ‘Shox’ brand. He also had a black ‘Tooheys Old’ T-Shirt wrapped around his head.
