Kingborough District Cricket Club continues to grow, with new grandstand facilities opened at the Twin Ovals, supported by a $500,000 investment from the Tasmanian Government, Premier Will Hodgman said.

Twin Ovals complex now caters for domestic, national and international cricket matches, and importantly the new facilities will enable the Club to host Sheffield Shield games and more Women’s Big Bash League games.

Tasmanian Government remains committed to supporting and strengthening grassroots sports across the state as we aim to help Tasmanians lead healthier and more active lives.

“This investment and extension at Kingston cement the Twin Ovals as one of our premier regional sporting facilities.” Premier Hodgman said.
