Riewoldt First Tiger To Take Two Coleman Medals Since Michael Roach Back To Back In 1980-81

Richmond Full Forward Jack Riewoldt kicked 6 Goals to claim his 2nd Coleman Medal in emphatic style against Port Adelaide despite the Round 23 match ending in a draw.

The Coleman Medal is awarded to the leading goal scorer of the Home and Away series of the VFL/AFL.

Jack Riewoldt is the first Richmond Tiger to take out two Coleman Medals since Michael Roach won the award back to back in 1980 and 1981.

Jack Riewoldt won the Coleman Medal in season 2010 kicking 78 goals.

Season 2012 saw Riewoldt kick 65 goals to win the Coleman Medal however his efforts in 2012 showed a more even spread of goals scored during the season as this table shows:
