Hodgman Govt Opens Applications For 15 New Positions In Parks And Wildlife Service

Tasmanian Government is committed to preserving our precious natural assets so future generations can enjoy our State’s unrivalled natural environment.

To help support the management and preservation of our world renowned parks the Government has opened applications for 15 new positions in the Parks and Wildlife Service, Premier Will Hodgman said.

Positions include field-based roles and to provide additional capability in compliance, park and reserve planning and recreation.

Several of the positions to be advertised will be dedicated to allow Aboriginal people to work on country in a career with the Tasmanian Public Service.

Locations for the new ranger positions include:

  • Arthur River,
  • Deloraine,
  • Hobart,
  • Lake St. Clair,
  • Mt. Field,
  • St. Helens and Bruny Island,
  • Strahan,
  • Other regional offices.
