About 1.30 am on Sunday 15th August 2010, a 40 yr old male from Denistone drove his motor vehicle in a southerly direction along Terry Road, Denistone. The male driver lost control of his vehicle whilst negotiating a bend in the road which caused his vehicle to skid for approximately 25 metres before colliding with a stone wall.

As a result of the collision the vehicle sustained major front end damage but the driver was not injured. Upon arrival at the scene by Police officers the male driver was subjected to a roadside breath test which proved positive. He was then arrested and taken back to Eastwood Police Station where he underwent a breath analysis which provided a reading of 0.203.

The male person’s driver’s licence was suspended immediately. He was issued with a Court Attendance Notice for Drive with High Range Prescribed Concentration of Alcohol. The male person is due to appear at Ryde Local Court on the 1st September 2010.
