Boundary Changes:

The 2012-2013 redivision of State electoral boundaries made the following changes to the boundaries of Hastings District.

Hastings Lost:

334 electors to Bass District (Part of Clyde)

2,609 electors to Cranbourne District (Botanic Ridge and Junction Village. Parts of Clyde, Cranbourne, Devon Meadows and Langwarrin)

784 electors to Mornington District (Parts of Baxter, Moorooduc and Tuerong)

3,224 electors to Nepean District (Balnarring, Balnarring Beach, Merricks Beach and Somers)

Hastings Gained:

5,706 electors from Cranbourne District (Part of Langwarrin)

Eastern Victoria Region

Election Results:

Two-party preferred vote, 2010 State election:

ALP:               15,728             39.22%

Liberal:            24,379             60.78%

Estimated two-party preferred vote on 2014 boundaries:*

ALP:               15,792             40.4%

Liberal:            23,333             59.6%
