Tasmania Opposition Leader Will Hodgman
Secret Forestry Talks By Minority To Decide Fate Of Silent Majority

Premier Lara Giddings today failed to meet with the silent majority whose lives will be devastated by her government’s disastrous forestry deal, according to Opposition Leader Will Hodgman.
“In contrast the Liberals were pleased to join with other Tasmanians to greet ‘Give It Back’ walkers who have trekked from the Observer tree in the Styx Valley to Parliament House lawns to highlight that the forestry deal does not have widespread community support.”
“The Liberals will always stand by our forestry industry and those who depend on it.” Mr. Hodgman said.
“It’s time the Premier saw the writing on the wall, abandoned this disastrous process and worked with the Liberals to grow our forestry industry instead of shutting it down.” Mr. Hodgman said.
