Tasmania Shadow Minister for Forestry Peter Gutwein
Weak Premier Paralysed By Indecision Over Forest Peace Deal

The fact that Premier Lara Giddings is still clueless about what’s happening with the forestry deal two days out from the legislation being reintroduced into the House of Assembly proves that the Premier has lost control over the process, Shadow Minister for Forestry Peter Gutwein said.
“This a weak Premier paralysed by indecision whose idea of democracy in action is to abrogate responsibility to a group of unelected people meeting in secret, each with their own vested interests, to decide on the future of Tasmania.”
“A majority Hodgman Liberal Government will undo the job destroying forestry deal. We will unlock every single stick that Labor and the Greens try and lock up. It’s time to give the forestry industry the resource security and certainty needed to rebuild and grow.” Mr. Gutwein said.
