Boundary Changes:

The 2012-2013 redivision of State electoral boundaries made the following changes to the boundaries of Footscray District.

Footscray Lost:

2,565 electors to St Albans District (Part of Sunshine)

7,152 electors to Williamstown District (Kingsville and Seddon. Part of Yarraville.).

Footscray Gained:

11,143 electors from Derrimut District (Sunshine West).

Western Metropolitan Region

Election Results:

Two-party preferred vote, 2010 State election:

ALP:               22,714             66.23%

Liberal:            11,580             33.77%

Estimated two-party preferred vote on 2014 boundaries:*

ALP:               23,039             65.9%

Liberal:            11,903             34.1%
