Teenager Stabbed In Arm During Home Invasion – Condell Park

A teenager has been stabbed with a shard of glass after confronting a man breaking into his south-western Sydney home.

About 9.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 23 December), the 17-year-old male youth discovered the unknown man trying to gain access to his Market Street house, after having smashed a front window.

The teenager confronted the intruder; however, he armed himself with a shard of glass and slashed the youth across his right arm.

The offender then fled the scene.

NSW Ambulance paramedics took the injured teenager to Bankstown Hospital for treatment.

Police from Bankstown Local Area Command and the Forensic Services Group attended the scene and conducted inquiries.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or any suspicious activity in the Market Street area overnight is urged to contact Bankstown Police Station via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
