Police Appeal For Witnesses Following Fail To Stop Collision – Chester Hill
Police from the Bankstown Local Area Command are appealing for information following a hit-and-run collision in Chester Hill yesterday.
About 3.30pm a father and his three-year-old son were crossing Arlewis Street when a vehicle described only as being an early 90s model silver sedan, turned into the street and hit the young boy.
The driver of the vehicle, described as a heavy-set woman of Asian appearance, stopped briefly then left the scene.
The young boy was treated at a nearby doctor’s surgery before being taken by ambulance to The Children’s Hospital, Westmead, for observation. He suffered a laceration and abrasions to his foot and is in a stable condition.
