Appeal For Public Assistance Following Thefts At Liquor Store – Carnes Hill

Police are appealing for public assistance following two robberies in two days in Sydney’s South-West late last year.

Shortly before 4 pm on Sunday 27 December, two males entered a liquor store at a shopping centre in Cowpasture Road, Carnes Hill.

It is alleged both males went to a spirits aisle and each concealed a bottle of spirits in their clothes before leaving the store.

About 5.30 pm the next day (Monday 28 December), the two males and a female returned to the store before one of the males again allegedly stole a bottle of spirits by concealing it in his clothing.

The trio was last seen driving away in a silver coloured Holden Commodore.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a female and two males who might be able to assist them with their inquiries.

The first male is described as white/European in appearance, with blonde mullet-styled hair and a tattoo on his right forearm. He was wearing an orange T-shirt, white three-quarter length tracksuit pants with two black stripes down the sides, sneakers and a black bum bag.
