Shortly before 7 am a Hyundai Getz was travelling Southbound on the far left lane of the F3 Freeway at Berowra when it was struck by a piece of aluminium about 1.5 m long.

As a result the car’s windscreen was shattered. The P2 driver, an 18-year-old Kariong woman, escaped injury.

She pulled her car over and was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics at the scene as a precaution.
