Boundary Changes:

The 2012-2013 redivision of State electoral boundaries made the following changes to the boundaries of Benambra District.

Benambra Lost:

242 electors to Ovens Valley District (Gapsted and Mudgegonga).

Benambra Gained:

1,962 electors from Benalla District (Falls Creek, Mount Beauty and Tawonga)

2,931 electors from Murray Valley District (Rutherglen and Wahgunyah).

Northern Victoria Region

Election Results:

Two-party preferred vote, 2010 State election:

ALP:           11,045       33.52%

Liberal:      21,909       66.48%

Estimated two-party preferred vote on 2014 boundaries:*

ALP:          12,824        34.1%

Liberal:     24,825       65.9%
