Boundary Changes:

The 2012-2013 redivision of State electoral boundaries made the following changes to the boundaries of Bellarine District.

Bellarine Lost:

8,850 electors to Geelong District (Newcomb and Whittington. Part of St. Albans Park.).

Bellarine Gained:

2,811 electors from South Barwon District (Barwon Heads. Part of Connewarre.).

Western Victoria Region

Election Results:

Two-party preferred vote, 2010 State election:

ALP:                 20,449       51.37%

Liberal:            19,362      48.63%

Estimated two-party preferred vote on 2014 boundaries:*

ALP:                16,174         47.5%

Liberal:           17,854        52.5%
