Boundary Changes:

The 2012-2013 redivision of State electoral boundaries made the following changes to the boundaries of Bass District.

Bass Lost:

7,148 electors to Gembrook District (Parts of Officer and Pakenham)

5,720 electors to Narracan District (Bunyip, Cora Lynn, Garfield, Maryknoll, Nar Nar Goon, Nar Nar Goon North, Tynong and Tynong North)

3,715 electors to Narre Warren South District (Part of Berwick)

Bass Gained:

3,521 electors from Gembrook District (Part of Pakenham)

334 electors from Hastings District (Part of Clyde)

Upper House Region:

Eastern Victoria Region

 

Election Results:

Two-party preferred vote, 2010 State election:

ALP:               16,622             37.42%

Liberal:            27,804             62.58%

Estimated two-party preferred vote on 2014 boundaries:*

ALP:               12,692             37.6%

Liberal:            21,024             62.4%
