Boundary Changes:

The 2012-2013 redivision of State electoral boundaries made the following changes to the boundaries of Altona District.

Altona Lost:

13,428 electors to Tarneit District (Laverton North and Williams Landing. Parts of Hoppers Crossing)

Altona Gained:

1,442 electors from Williamstown District (Seaholme)

Vacant land from Tarneit District (Part of Werribee between Hacketts Road and the Princes Freeway)

Upper House Region:

Western Metropolitan Region

Election Results:

Two-party preferred vote, 2010 State election:

ALP:                27,886        61.96%

Liberal:           17,117         38.04%

Estimated two-party preferred vote on 2014 boundaries:*

ALP:                 22,974       62.4%

Liberal:             13,847      37.6%
