Boundary Changes:

The 2012-2013 redivision of State electoral boundaries made the following changes to the boundaries of Albert Park District.

Albert Park Lost:

6,466 electors to Brighton District (Elwood)

2,990 electors to Prahran District (Part of Melbourne between St Kilda Road and Queens Road).

Albert Park Gained:

1,218 electors from Prahran District (Part of St Kilda).

Upper House Region:

Southern Metropolitan Region

 

Election Results:

Two-party preferred vote, 2010 State election:

ALP:               20,713             52.06%

Liberal:            19,077             47.94%

Estimated two-party preferred vote on 2014 boundaries:*

ALP:               17,002             50.9%

Liberal:            16,427             49.1%
