Labor Premier Lara Giddings call for a ‘jobs summit’ is an admission that unemployment under her Labor-Green government is too high and she doesn’t have a clue about how to fix it, Acting Opposition Leader Jeremy Rockliff said.
“Everybody knows that it is the Labor-Green minority disaster that is killing off jobs and destroying investor and consumer confidence.”
“The Liberals will not be taking part in Lara Giddings latest talkfest. We have already consulted with business and industry and we have developed a comprehensive Plan to grow the economy and create jobs.” Mr. Rockliff said.
“Instead of another ‘jobs summit’ we challenge the Premier to actually do something that benefits Tasmanians implement our positive plan, or call an election.”
“It is time to give Tasmanians the chance to elect a stable majority Liberal government which has the energy and the Plan to grow the economy and create jobs.” Mr. Rockliff said.
