Boy Injured In Hit And Run – Hillsdale

Police from the Botany Bay Local Area Command are appealing for public assistance following a hit and run collision in Hillsdale yesterday.

About 4.30 pm, a 6-year-old boy was riding his pushbike on the footpath of Templeman Crescent when he was hit by a vehicle reversing from a steep inclined driveway.

The boy was knocked from his bike and suffered a perforated ear drum. He was treated at the scene by Paramedics before being taken to Prince of Wales Children’s Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

A witness told Police he saw a vehicle, described as a 90’s model white Hyundai Excel Sprint or Lantra leaving the scene at speed.
