Minister for Environment Parks and Heritage Matthew Groom has announced that bookings have now passed 8,700 for Tasmania’s newest walking experience, the Three Capes Track.

“Additionally, there has been massive interest in the Three Capes Track Centenary promotion, which allows walkers to experience the Three Capes Track for the special price of only $250 per person between 15 July and 31 August 2016.”

Bookings have risen from 53 before the promotion was announced, to 636 as of Monday morning, and still rising.

The Hodgman State Government is a proud supporter of Tasmania’s iconic national parks which attract both local and interstate visitors and help strengthen our economy.

“These fantastic numbers confirm the Three Capes Track as one of the world’s top tourism destinations, and we will continue to ensure that Tasmanians and visitors alike can experience our unique, world class natural assets.” Mr. Groom said.
