Latest project completed as part of the Northern Territory Government’s $50 Million investment in recreational fishing infrastructure is a toilet block at Dinah Beach boat ramp.

Minister for Primary Industry and Resources Ken Vowles, said the project was a welcome addition to the popular facility.

“Recreational fishing is a huge part of our Territory lifestyle, contributes millions of dollars to our economy and creates local jobs.” Minister Vowles said.

“It makes sense to invest in the sector, to cement the Northern Territory’s reputation as a world-class fishing destination.”

Toilet block consists of three semi-automated unisex toilets, one providing access for people with a disability. It is located at the rear of the Dinah Beach boat ramp car park.

“In keeping with the fishing theme, the outside of the block is covered with scenic shots including a boofing barra and a famous Territory sunset.” Minister Vowles said.

“Combined with the CCTV system we installed at Dinah Beach last year, these toilets make this ramp one of our most well-equipped.”
