  • State Government’s value for money initiative extended
  • Free admittance for children from 12 pm to dusk in February 2018
  • Half price admission fees for adults travelling from midday

More visitors can travel to ‘Rotto from Day to Dusk’, with January’s successful island admission discounts now offered into February.

“Rotto from Day to Dusk gave January visitation a spark, with thousands of visitors taking up the opportunity to experience the island in the late afternoon.” Minister for Tourism Paul Papalia said.

“Extending Rotto from Day to Dusk supports the ongoing activation of Rottnest Island as an exciting, value for money destination.”

Extended until February 28, 2018, ‘Rotto from Day to Dusk’ will see adults continue to pay half price admission fees ($9) and free admittance for children arriving on the island after 12 pm.

Discount is also extended to visitors landing in the reserve after midday by ferry, chartered boats and the general boating community on day trips.

More than 7,000 visitors took advantage of the discounted island admission in January 2018, exceeding the figures for afternoon visitation in the same month last year.
