Territory Government is calling for nominations for the Territory’s Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards.

Minister for Health Natasha Fyles said Territorians want and deserve high quality health services and it’s important to celebrate those who help to deliver that.

“These awards acknowledge and pay tribute to all the nurses and midwives who work tirelessly, year round to provide excellent quality health care.” Minister Fyles said.

“Territory nurses and midwives are dedicated and passionate people who show strong commitment to delivering quality health care and do this in one of the most challenging, unique and complex environments.”

Minister Fyles is urging Territorians to nominate a nurse or midwife who they know delivers great care and provides leadership to inspire, drive and achieve excellence.

“Awards are about recognising the value of nurses and midwives across the Territory and rewarding excellence for outstanding service.” Minister Fyles said.
