Katrina: Nominate A Hidden Treasure From Cootamundra Electorate

Victor P Taffa

Member for Cootamundra Katrina Hodgkinson is encouraging the community to nominate rural women volunteers to be honoured on the 2016 NSW Hidden Treasures Honour Roll.

“Rural women play an important role in our electorate demonstrating a passion and commitment that makes a difference to the lives of people in our community.” Ms. Hodgkinson said.

“It is important to recognise and appreciate the valuable and diverse roles that rural women shoulder to support our community.”

“I encourage anyone who knows of a valued female volunteer in the Cootamundra electorate to recognise their contribution by nominating them to be included on the 2016 Hidden Treasures Honour Roll.” Ms. Hodgkinson said.

All rural women nominated will be included in the 2016 Hidden Treasures Honour Roll, which will be launched at the annual NSW Rural Women’s Gathering being hosted by women from Broken Hill on 28-30 October 2016.

Nominations close Monday 1 August 2016.
