Primary Industry and Resources Minister, Ken Vowles said the competition is a great way to enjoy the Territory lifestyle, and reminded fishos to stay safe and follow fishing guidelines.

“Free Fishing app, NT Fishing Mate, is another great tool for smart phone users, and is there to help all recreational fishers know the rules and which areas are open to them for fishing.” Mr. Vowles said.

“Remember to ‘Be Crocwise’ at all times when fishing from land or boat. Beware of warning signs, be vigilant and don’t get so caught up in the excitement of landing the Million Dollar Barra that you forget your surroundings.”
