Andrews Government is backing local libraries, with another $4.5 Million in grants to help them flourish.

Minister for Local Government Marlene Kairouz visited Ivanhoe today to announce a $750,000 Living Libraries Infrastructure Program (LLIP) grant toward the development of the Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub.

“Libraries are at the heart of our local communities that’s why we’re investing in Ivanhoe library and others right across Victoria.” Minister for Local Government Marlene Kairouz said.

“New Ivanhoe library will be a hub for learning, play and relaxation for kids, adults and everyone in the community.”

2017 LLIP will enable 13 councils across Melbourne and regional Victoria to improve their facilities and services.
