Labor can no longer avoid the figures in the Macquarie Bank prospectus on the new Royal Adelaide Hospital.

In Question Time today, Opposition Leader Isobel Redmond personally handed a copy of the Macquarie document to the Premier who has consistently denied he has seen a copy despite being posted one on May 3rd.

“Labor has been ruthless in its deceit of the South Australian public.” Ms. Redmond said.

“Labor can no longer cover up the $2.73 Billion figure this is what it will cost to build Labor’s new hospital.”

“Labor must now stop fudging the figures, come clean with South Australians and confirm that the figures in the Macquarie document are correct.” Ms. Redmond said.

“The Premier has the document it will be a gross breach of trust on the part of the four Labor Ministers who were posted the document to continue to refuse to explain the figures to taxpayers.”

“In reality the total cost to South Australians over 30 years for the new Royal Adelaide Hospital will be almost $11 Billion; about one million dollars per day over the life of the contract.”

“This is a catastrophically bad deal for South Australia.” Ms. Redmond said.
