Brownlow Medal Winners Since 1924

Brownlow Medal (Charles Brownlow Trophy) is awarded to the Best and Fairest Player during the Home and Away Season as determined by Umpires officiating at Victorian Football League (VFL)/Australian Football League (AFL) matches.

First Brownlow Medal was awarded in 1924. There was no Brownlow Medal awarded from 1942-45 due to World War II.

Similar awards to the Best and Fairest Player are also presented in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) and Western Australian Football League (WAFL).

SANFL Best and Fairest Player award is named the Magarey Medal.

WAFL Best and Fairest Player award is named the Sandover Medal.
