Major Projects Victoria Wins Top Project Management Award

Major Projects Victoria (MPV) has been honoured for its work on Melbourne’s AAMI Park stadium taking out a top prize at the 2011 Australian Institute of Project Management Achievement Awards.
The stadium’s project management team from MPV was recognised last night with the award for best construction and engineering project over $100 Million.
Minister for Major Projects Denis Napthine praised MPV’s management of the AAMI Park project.
“I am delighted that Major Projects Victoria has received industry acknowledgment for their work on what has fast become one of Australia’s most iconic sports stadiums.’ Dr. Napthine said.
“A project of this scope and complexity could not have been delivered so successfully without a stellar project team behind it.”
“Everyone involved in the project including Major Projects Victoria, Cox Architects, Arup, Norman Disney Young and Grocon can be very proud of what they have achieved in AAMI Park.”
The Australian Institute of Project Management Award was the sixth major award received by AAMI Park this year.
