Disability Services Commission CEO Reappointed

The Director General of the Disability Services Commission, Ron Chalmers, has been reappointed.

Disability Services Minister Simon O’Brien said today that Dr. Chalmers’ reappointment would be effective from November 6, for a term of five years.

“Dr. Chalmers is making a significant contribution to Disability Services and the Western Australian Public Sector.” Mr. O’Brien said.

“I look forward to continuing to work with Dr. Chalmers to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities, their families and carers.”

Dr. Chalmers has held the position of Director General of the Disability Services Commission since November 2007, and prior to that held senior executive positions at the Commission.
